The root cause of piracy is the ancient business models of the entertainment industry. The government needs to work on reform with the industry and the internet as a whole. Four companies having a "quadopoly" should not be allowed to clog our nations court system and have lobbying groups that can dictate and shape how/when/why our media is consumed when we are paying money for it. It is these restrictions and unnecessary price gouging tactics that keep everyone from being able to be innovative and further creativity.
