Reform EPA standards as to decrease pressure on the classic car and modified car communities.

In the past decade and a half, the Environmental Protection Agency has put pressure on the parties of automotive manufacturers, and private owners of classic or specialty motor vehicles. The pressure stems from the control of smog and efficiency of the internal combustion engine housed with the vehicle itself. This control has caused many otherwise enjoyable and legal vehicles, pieces that are representative of a certain era or niche in design, to be considered illegal and therefor dangerous to the public. Such vehicles affected are those dating from before the mid to late 1990s or such vehicles as are imported from other countries. This petition is to signify a change in legislation that allows a lower-standard smog-test of collector vehicles built before 1987 or are otherwise road legal.
