The house republicans recently wrote up a superb document outlining the issues with the current copyright laws and why they punish the public and reward only companies wealthy enough to play with our Justice system to go after everyday Americans. This was taken down within a day due to the efforts of hollywood lobbyists. We want someone in the government to recognize how unfair this system is and stop letting lawyers use the government to go after the population, allowing more freedom with creative works and less severe penalties per infringement, 20-100,000 dollars is severe and will almost certainly destroy the average american
