As our federal government grows its connection to each state's specific structure of government has grown weaker.
Federal government entitlement program's are spending faster than our taxes can keep up with no end in sight. Washington politicians battle in political gridlock over issues that need resolution. It can be argued that the federal government has lost control of itself and now needs to relinquish these controls back to the state level where each state's economy and political structure is driven differently.
Therefore, given the amount of power given to Washington DC and the lack of control and effort shown by those in congress, this petition has been written to request that they relent authority back to state and local municipalities.
