Reform Federal Policy Towards Marijuana

Created by J.T. on January 26, 2013

Marijuana has been proven to be medically beneficial in many illnesses, yet it still remains a Schedule 1 drug. This means that according to the DEA, there is no medical benefit.
Let's make marijuana schedule 4. Why? Vicodin is also schedule 4, making it readily available and affordable. Vicodin consumption is also on the rise in America, which now consumes 99% of the world's Vicodin. Are we in more pain? I don't think so.
On top of that, Vicodin has caused deaths in the past, while Marijuana never has!
