Reform Government Accountability and Extend the Statute of Limitation on Lawsuits against Public Officials:

Created by D.C. on January 05, 2013

We ask that the Obama administration create a new statute of limitation on law suits for poor and mentally disabled people, who through the use of state public defenders have been abused by the system in any way, such as false imprisonment, false or coerced consfessions, plea bargains, malicious prosecutions etc. That the law of bribes taken against any poor person, by any lawyer or public defender, whether their disabilty was permanent or temporary, be a priority of enforcement/punishment to them and restitution for their client. That judges upholding these practices and found to be partial to or in favor of them, be asked or made to step down. That there be no SOL against anyone unable to make competent decisions or hire competent legal counsel at time of defense.
