The nation we live in today is not what our forefathers had envisioned. Our country has moved away from our constitution. One clear example of this is the numerous regulations passed by the executive branch. For example, Obama's administration approved 613 federal rules during his first 33 months, Bush passed 643 in the same time. It is a recent trend seen where the executive branch bypass congress and make their own laws. Some argue that our congress is in deadlock and they can't pass anything. This is because of the political parties today are obsessed with destroying the other If we were to take out the money and selfishness from our congress. Our legislature could do their job which is to serve the people and make laws.
