It is time for someone to stand up and actually lead a charge for lasting gun control legislation. The same old quotes of "Today is not the day" are not good enough. Today won't be the day, people will forget tomorrow and when the next giant tragedy occurs, people will say it's not the day again. Not to mention the gun crimes that happen every single day in our country. Look around the world at other countries. Gun control works. Please stand up and make the President take notice. This could be a huge legacy and a huge change. The tragedy this day is just further proof that enough is enough and the 2nd Amendment is outdated. This petition is just another way of trying to convince the administration that people want something done.
