reform the H1B Visa Cap for FY 2015

Created by A.B. on April 11, 2014

Immigration reform has long been an outstanding issue. We can start little by little by reforming the H1B cap for hard working immigrants looking to fulfill their dreams here in America. The H1B cap has been reached for the FY of 2015. The US received over 172,000 H1B Visa applications for only 85,000 spots (advanced + general applications included). Because there are so many applicants, a lottery system has been established that will draw at random from the pool of 172,000 applicants. If you do the math, it is roughly a 50/50 chance to be picked. This needs to be reformed ASAP, after all, we are the land of opportunity... Now let's live up to it for all hard working individuals.
