First, require that every physician who practices medicine at Veteran Administration facility be licensed in that state. Second, require all physicians and health care providers to have the same obligations as civilian health care providers. Time and time again VA doctors, Nurses, PA's, etc show incompetence. They prescribe incorrect medication, incorrect dosages, or fail to even treat conditions at all.
There is no over sight of the VA since it is a Federal Government agency. I submit to you that there be an over sight agency or committee that Veterans can make complaints, concerns, appeals, and grievances, to that are neutral in favor of either party.
I submit that the VA should be held accountable for its actions and stop hiding behind the federal Government.
