The Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act has caused a great stir at the High School level, as the limit of 700 to 800 calories per meal is not enough for some students. One high school article in the area has mentioned the "one-size-fits-all" issue, in that students cannot be judged on a sliding scale based on the current law.
The HHFKA should be amended or reformed to see that at a high school level, students are able to secure a more filling lunch portion each school day, through the increase of calorie limit or similar reform.
