HEMP IS NOT MARIJUANA!
This petition is in regards to reforming hemp laws at the federal level. A brief history: hemp; one of the most versatile plants in the plant kingdom, known to have more than 25,000 uses including but not limited to: food and nutrition, body care, paper, fabric, textiles, fuel, plastic alternatives, building materials, etc. Most importantly, use of hemp as fuel would lower our carbon footprint, reducing the effects of climate change.
In turn, the United States of America would be setting the standards for other countries around the world resulting in a world wide reduction of carbon, paving the path to a less toxic and overall, healthier world.
Only "We the people" can help to make a change.
