The House of Representatives was established in 1788 in an effort to provide representation among the states of our union based on the relative sizes of each area's population. However, in more modern times, the rules by which our representation are chosen have been taken advantage of and corrupted to benefit a chosen few in political power.
The signers of this petition request that a real and honest effort be made to reform the House of Representatives.
A. Organize an impartial body to review and redraw House district lines to undo the efforts of Gerrymandering.
B. Set severe limits and punishments on future redistricting in the name of political leveraging.
C. Set strict term limits and age restrictions on those looking to hold office as representatives.
