This petition seeks to introduce trial by combat as an alternative option in criminal cases with a penalty of over five years in prison (or in excess of $10 in fines). Mandatory Bat'leth training will be provided for all District Attorneys, who in exchange agree to fight on behalf of the state.
In addition, all civil cases will be handled out of court, in duel. The weapon of choice and time will be agreed on beforehand, and each party must bring three seconds. Substitutes are not allowed.
The federal government has no established right to prevent trial by combat or duels between consenting adults, and must stop infringing on these sacred rights in the name of modernity.
