Reform the judicial system, how can a $10.00 drug charge be a felony?

Created by S.G. on December 27, 2011

A $10.00 cocaine poss. Charge is a felony, how can you classify felony charges on someone who has an addiction. Treat the charge as a medical issue, don't make them a felon so they are not allowed to work and support their family for the rest of their lives. Not fair, I have never stolen anything in my life or hurt anyone ever. Now every job I try to get I get turned down because of the laws on the books. What is someone suppose to do that is now clean and only wants to work. I now have a life sentence for $10.00 poss. Charge. In Europe if you get caught with drugs or cocaine they get you help for the addiction not make you a felon. In state of Florida, once you get this on your record you can never remove it, please tell me how I am suppose to feed my family now.
