The various branches of the military currently spend an average of 4 million dollars each on the development of uniforms. This development has led to multiple changes of uniform and individual equipment that continues to drive the increase in price of the uniforms across the branches of the military.
This petition moves to
1. Establish a common camouflage pattern for use throughout the services
2. Encourage the services to develop equipment as a joint endeavor to make distribution and contracting easier and drive down costs
3. Encourage services to develop more similar uniform items to drive down cost of development and discrimination (example: same cut of uniform)
4. Encourage services to use common uniform items as Physical Training uniforms (Marine Green PT's)
