Reform movie theater ticketing (12-year olds no longer charged/priced as adults)

Created by T.E. on April 21, 2015

I have been considered an adult since I was 12 years old according to the movie theater ticketing model. This needs to change for more than just one reason, but one of them is that I couldn't go to an R-rated or adult themed movie yet I had to pay the ticket pricing for one. Adults outside of the movie theater model are considered 18-21 years old so why should there be any exemptions even if they do bring in a possibility for more revenue?
