It's common knowledge that No Child Left Behind (NCLB) does not fulfill its intended purpose. The United States continues to fall behind the rest of the world in terms of education, and in addition, NCLB creates a major achievement gap. This achievement gap results in students that might need extra assistance (low income, special needs, etc.) not getting the help they need to really succeed at a high level. These students, and students at all public elementary and high schools are being cheated out of a quality education.
No Child Left Behind is seriously flawed.
