Reform Our College System: Too many people graduate from college with a useless degree and thousands in debt.

Created by J.B. on November 25, 2012

We propose to help our colleges (and thus our nation) by transferring funding from less-useful degrees (like Liberal Arts and German studies) to more useful ones (Computer software engineering) where the students could graduate with a degree that will get them a high-paying job instead of unemployment and college debt. This would then help our nation because an engineer with a job that earns $80,000 can help our society with inventions. Too many people graduate from college with a useless degree and thousands in debt and end up on welfare.
We furthermore propose to lessen the cost of tuition and housing at colleges. This is a wise investment because a college degree will allow a person make more money and thus their tax dollars will to help our nation.
