We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Reform Our Currency to Save Taxpayers Millions of Dollars Each Year

Created by T.B. on September 07, 2016

The United States Dollar is one of the key currencies in the world today, but our system of bank notes and coins needs an update. Coins like the penny and the nickel cost more than their worth to create, and replacing $1 bills with coins would save a vast amount of money. Changing this system would have minor negative effects but would make the United States much more efficient. We the people ask the government to look at reforms in countries like Canada and the EU to move to reform our currency system to encourage efficiency and eliminate waste such as the penny and nickel.
