Our patent system is lightly enforced, overly broad, and does nothing to protect inventors and their company's. We constantly hear of numerous lawsuits from company’s suing each other over patents that are not specific enough and should have never been granted. The patient system has to be more thorough in its review process, faster, more selective, and provide better descriptions on what specifically the patent was issued to defend.
