We should reform our current electoral college "winner takes all" system in order for a more representative electoral college vote to be implemented. The electoral college vote can be effectively split within the varying states according to the actual distribution of the popular vote of that given state. This would ensure that voters are fully engaged and that everyone's vote truly matters, rather than the candidates solely focusing on swing states and that the electorate knows their vote is represented in the electoral vote.
