The Patriot Act was created based on fear & has resulted in unlimited persecution of Americans. It was a ploy of the Bush Adm to create a massive network called Homeland Security in the interest of National Security. This was done post 9/11 because the FBI & CIA failed to communicate & share info. Now with over 1,200 separate agencies with no oversight, they are targeting US citizens, invading our privacy, treating us like terrorists and abusing their authority. This has resulted in an enormous $$$ expense for the American tax payer. The US DOD contracts with Cheney Defense Contractors who employ thousands of murders & mercenaries. These contractors cost 3Xs more per person that federal workers. These duties should be the responsibility of our military personnel who are US citizens.
