Studies have shown that martial arts training have psychological benefits for children of all ages. To increase the proficiency of students in the U.S. it would be in the Government's best interest to reform the Physical Education of public school's to center around martial arts training and the moral principles that are encompassed in the practice.
This would:
1) Teach our children how to defend themselves
2) Teach our children when it is appropriate to use what they have learned.
3) Increase self-discipline.
4) Increase self-esteem.
5) Teach responsibility
6) Condition the bodies of our nations students.
Instituting a martial arts program in our nation's public schools will have a lasting effect upon our children and will benefit the future generation.
