Reform the police

We the people can not trust an unaccountable police force. Too many instances of police corruption and abuses of authority, create the impression that citizens should not trust the police, and should instead be afraid of those officials charged with protecting and serving the people. A single corrupt officer that is never called to account, tarnishes our justice system more than a thousand wrongfull convictions. A viable solution is a court admissible helmet camera on every on duty officers head. These may be purchased at less than 300 dollars a camera, And should already be well within the budgets of most departments. Most police departments are honest already, and these cameras will also protect them from false accusations, and frivolous lawsuits.
