The current primary election process has disempowered the American public from choosing canidates that best represent the interest of voters. This is a problem for all American people, of all political affiliations.
States that hold their primaries before other states have more infleunce in the primary election process than states who hold their primaries later during the election season. Citizens from Iowa and New Hampshire should have no more say than those residing in California and South Dakota. Media coverage during these earlier primaries and caucuses are disproportionately pivotal to the success of potential presidential canidates.
The solution:
All primaries must be held on the same date. American voters from all states deserve equal say in their next presidential candidate.
