Reform the prison system in the U.S. to allow inmates serving a sentence to do so without fear of Rape, death, beatings

Created by R.C. on October 30, 2011

Government needs to study what will change an inmate for the better instend of just wharehousing Inmates. A willing Inmate needs an enviroment that will allow them to change for the better, i.e. be free of the negitive influnce of other inmates on their actions. Not have to worry that their celly is going to do something to them once they are locked in together, or in a dorm setting where almost any inmate can do whatever they want before a staff member can stop injury to another inmate. Basically all prisons should be one-man cells. This will go a long way towards keeping inmates from coming out meaner and more crimmally knowledgeable then when they went. Prison should change a person for the better not make them worse. While getting that pound of flesh.
