reform the public education system of America which desperately needs it.

High school in the United States is increasingly difficult and incredibly frustrating for the kids that attend. Not only is it ridiculous to ask us to get up so early and work on useless things when our brains are still releasing sleep hormones, schools in the US are not run properly. As well as this, expectations are way too high, and many students that are intelligent feel trapped and depressed because of the high volume of work for subjects we don't need. We deserve the right to have a later school day so we can actually rest, pursue our own interests academically, and have support and awareness for anxiety, depression, and other issues many kids have to face on a daily basis. We are the future, so why do you treat us so badly? This is a cry out for HELP.
