I am 21 years old, and I realize how much of an "at-risk" driver society sees me as, but a n officer's leniency on speeding is too vague and too many chances with speeding tickets are taken every minute of the day. Someone speeding could be a drunk driver, but too often, it is not. There is just too much to say right here, right now. More concise speeding laws need to be placed and speed limits need to be raised in areas with better environments, smaller neighborhoods, and sections of interstates with below 70 speed limits.
I have had four speeding tickets this year. Three on "interstates or major highways" and one on a small town road. 87 in 70, 73 in 55, 76 in a 55, and a 42 in 30(right as I left a 30 mph zone, into a 45 mph zone)
