Reform the salaries of public officials. All elected officials shall be paid the average salary of their constituents.

In order to shift the focus of our elected officials back to where they belong, their constituents, we propose that the salary of elected officials including but not limited to the President, Senators, and Representatives be set at a level equal to the average salary of the citizens that they represent in their district. Doing this will incentivize our officials to begin to act in the best interests of those that they are sworn to represent and help to prevent career politicians.
