Reform the Social Security Administration with regards to unfair policies for Disabled Americans

Created by A.D. on July 29, 2015

Particularly affected by our deficient healthcare system are Disabled Americans. Many could be productive members of society with reasonable medical accommodations. However in order to receive these accommodations, many have had to sacrifice the prospect of full time employment and pass up jobs with higher wages in order to meet requirements for the healthcare plan they depend on. Others have chosen to forgo their assistance at great risk to themselves in hopes of securing a job with a reasonable healthcare plan before the consequences of this action cost them their long term health or even lives.

We petition this administration to help the SSA provide services for those who can work with reasonable accommodation without penalizing them for doing said work.
