Eliminate the current Social Security tax system for ALL Americans born after January 1, 2000, and mandate each individual American create a retirement account via the private sector.
In addition, give ALL Americans born before said date the opportunity to choose to wave all future Social Security benefits and deposit funds equal to current Social Security rates into private retirement account. Simply add account information to W-4 form for employer to automatically deposit funds into individual account, much like current direct deposits.
This new type of system will create wealth for ALL Americans as retirement account funds can be inherited by future generations of each individual's family rather than lost upon death to the failing Social Security fund.
