reform student loan lending practices, collection and bankruptcy restrictions.

Created by P.T. on January 04, 2013

Student loans have created a debt slave class for the past 40 years, damaging the lives of millions of citizens.

No remedy is available to those who struggle with payments. Deferments provide incentives to lenders because it increases loans exponentially.

To fix this system, we demand:

1. Education funding reform that provides college education without borrowing.

2. Federal rules for lending and collections practices that guarantee the privacy of borrowers, with real protection from harassment.

3. Retroactive bankruptcy remedies that provide relief for ALL past borrowers who are unable to repay loans.

Government undermining of our most educated and talented citizens must end. Taking this burden off those who can do the most will improve our economy and enrich our society.
