This petition is put forth to express the American people's disagreement with a government policy. The government works for us, and must conform to our wishes - or else be known as a dictatorship or oligarchy.
The future of the human race lies in the hands of educated citizens. Unfortunately for said citizens, education is only for the rich.
Education is entirely unaffordable to the average citizen because our government considers it a profit center. They make billions of dollars every year from our pursuit of higher learning.
The government's obscene profits from education prove one of two things: they are either greedy and incapable of prioritizing, or they do not want an educated population.
Make education affordable - or follow the example of successful countries and make it free.
