Reform the tax code to keep our government solvent and minimize the cuts needed to balance our budget.

Created by M.B. on December 05, 2012

Our tax code must be reformed so that the ultra-rich pay their fair share. The Bush tax cuts for those earning over $250,000 must be allowed to expire, all capital gains over $500,000 must be taxed as ordinary income and all dividend income above $250,000 must be taxed as ordinary income. All income, whether ordinary or capital gains must be subjected to the F.I.C.A. and the Medicare tax and the income ceiling for such taxes must be removed.

Once this is done our government will have sufficient revenue to meet the needs of the country. This will also minimize any cuts necessary to government programs.
