Reform television rules so we are not forced by the media monopolies like Viacom TWarner to buy bundles of channels.

Created by M.M. on March 03, 2015

Companies like Viacom and Time Warner effectively have a monopoly on the media industry. There is NO choice in channel selection. You must pay for bundles of channels - most of which are tripe you don't want - in order to get one you do. This - I believe - is done purposely.

We also are forced to accept exorbitant prices to fund over 200 sports and home shopping channels whether we want them or not. These prices for the sports "corporate monopoly" go to fund insane salaries. We cannot have TV without accepting the bill for these channels.

We used to be able to buy many different packages at lower rates with a decent selection. This is not so anymore. The lower rate packages have none of what people want to watch. Let us choose channels by content not for salaries.
