We want mental health services, nutritional and sufficient food, and better opportunities (including college education, job training, and re-assimilation training) to be made available to all United States prison inmates.
We want our prisons to become places of healing and rehabilitation- not simply torturous punishment.
We demand that basic human rights be applied to all incarcerated individuals and all inmates are treated with simple human dignity. Just because many of us have never faced this issue does not allow us to be silent against injustice.
