Secretary Shinseki is mismanaging Veterans affairs by appointing people underneath him that work without complete knowledge of their jobs. The system is so overloaded with cases for benefits, veterans and their family members that are in need of these compensations are dying before they receive their benefits. The Veterans hospitals are so back logged they are unable to see individuals for medical appointments. Once they are apart of the system, their paperwork is lost and no one is able to find it. Veterans are not receiving their benefits in a timely manner.The veterans administration is not allowing death benefits to be paid out in any time of less than 12 months, this is claim because of the back log. Secretary Shineski knows these problems exist and has done nothing to resolve it.
