Reform the Veterans Affairs health care system

Created by D.M. on December 28, 2012

The Veterans Affairs healthcare system has a greater need of veterans seeking services for PTSD and other services but as it stands the eterans Affairs healthcare system is grossly under staffed and apointment windows range anywhere from a few weeks to a few months for medical and mental health treatment. As a combat Veteran of the Iraq War i know from first hand experiance of the lapses and holes in VA medical care, it has been such a horrible experiance with the VA medical system that i have given up trying and have sought out non veteran physicians and mental health proffesionals at my own expense to get the services I need to be healthy. I have also given up on my claim to the VA because its been almost 3 years and no progress has been made.
