Reform the voting system into a preferential voting system parallel to Australia's..

Created by M.B. on January 13, 2015

The US is dominated by a two party/winner-take-all system, which forces voters to choose the popular choice over their preferred choice. This is called strategic voting which reduces support for parties in the minority which discourage any formation of minor parties to challenge the status quo. This ends with the two front runners as the people's only rational option regarding any voting. In a preferential style of voting, the people choose their preferences and the winner has to go through elimination processes. This gives voices in the minority a chance to be heard legitimately. As the United States of America we have always heard the voices of the strong and the weak, hence the Senate and House of Representatives. Now it is time to give third parties a chance to be represented.
