Welfare was created to help those who lost there jobs until they were able to find another one. It was not created for those who are to lazy to live off of because they want someone else to take care of them. Welfare needs to be less then minimum wage so it will encourage those to stop living off the government. To many people live off Welfare because they do not want to work a minimum wage job when they can sit at home and be taken care of by others tax dollars at the minimum wage amount through welfare.
