Reform Worker's Compensation so that employees who are hurt on the job are not required to take vacation or sick time.

Created by K.M. on January 21, 2013

Reform Worker's Compensation so that worker's who are injured on the job are not required to use their accrued extended sick time, sick time, paid time off or vacation days. Employees that are injured should not be forced into taking these paid days to supplement their incomes. By forcing employees to use these days, employees are unable to use sick time when needed for injuries or illness that do no occur outside of work. In addition employers often force employees to take the above listed days off when the employee is out of work with worker's compensation benefits, thus eliminating the employees time off bank. Furthermore employees who are injured on the job should not be forced to take FMLA.
