Opinion is not fact. Correlation is not causation. This boils down to education folks. People have either forgotten how or not been taught how to think. The educational system has become so fixated on passing tests that they have taken thought out of the process. Proof… Multiplication tables, cursive writing, industrial classes, are all gone or going away. We have calculators in the elementary classroom. We have tablets, pcs, and the internet. Why would you need to KNOW anything when we have Google? We have created a world where we rely on our devices for everything. In this void of actual education, the thirsty mind soaks up whatever crap is in front it. In comes the media and its systematic dumbing of the populous.The void of intellectual stimulation has created a society of dumb fucks.
