Current US Foreign Policy on Syria is not a wise position that will bode well either for the Middle East or for the West's relationship with other major partners (e.g. Russia). The US must avoid becoming involved militarily with a conflict it stands nothing to gain from nor where it can make a positive contribution. Let's not repeat history and damage relations, spend lots of money and in the end not even help those we claim to be helping.
