Refrain from Vetoing U.N. Security Council Resolutions Regarding the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

Created by P.V. on April 14, 2016

Whereas; (1) The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict continues to produce massive destruction, suffering and death; (2) The Palestinians are suffering far more than the Israelis; (3) The occupation is illegal under U.N. Security Council Resolutions 242 & 338; (4) The stated official U.S. policy has been, and continues to be, that a two-state solution is desired; (5) Israel's continued construction of West Bank settlements is making the two-state solution increasingly difficult; (6) The world community has, on numerous occasions, submitted resolutions to the Security Council designed to pressure Israel to make genuine, significant steps toward a two-state solution; and (7) These resolutions have often been vetoed by the U.S.; We therefore request that the U.S. stop vetoing these resolutions.
