A refusal to vote on a Supreme court nomination for more than thirty days should be considered approval.

In theory the senate could choose to never vote on a supreme court nomination. This effectively eliminates the judicial branch as our third branch of government. This lacks the necessary checks and balances this country is built on, and is currently being abused by partisan politicians. A lack of a vote within thirty days should be considered approval of the nomination.
