Law-abiding citizens of the United States of America should not have to pay for the sins of others who cannot control themselves. That said, in the light of recent tragedies where innocent people were senslessly killed, there is no across-the-board law to pass that will magically keep these tragedies from happening. The purpose of this petition is to let Washington know that preventing law-abiding citizens from having the opportunity to protect themselves from criminals will do nothing short of open a door for more crime, more terrorism and less liberty.
We the people of the United States of America demand the right to keep and bear Arms (of any type) and those rights shall not be infringed (any more than they already have been).
