Due to the fact that our nation has entered sequester and has amassed an unreasonably high debt, we do not need to spend money in furthering a war we are not a part of.
We should concentrate on winding down a war that has spanned over a decade and on bringing our troops home, not sending them into another conflict that doesn't concern us.
Considering that past attempts of arming an opposition have put those same weapons in the hands of our opponents in later years, we should not hand out any type of military armament, provide any military support, or engage in any behavior that may deepen the conflict.
If it is necessary to act in the Syrian conflict, we should engage ourselves only in providing humanitarian aid in order to ease the hardships of those affected by the ongoing hostilities
