Right before leaving office, current Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is recommending that military pay be limited, effectively decreasing troop salaries next year.
While we acknowledge that Government Defense spending should be cut, it should not be done on the backs of those that protect us! There are many other areas of Defense spending that are bloated, and have room for cuts.
President Obama, please protect our Military pay! Please tell the Defense Department to find other areas for cuts.
