Refuse the extradition of Amanda Knox to Italy per the guilty verdict by the Italian government 1-30-2014

Created by V.V. on January 30, 2014

Amanda Knox was acquitted for her charges in an appellate court in Perugia, Italy in 2011 per her conviction in 2009. After serving four years [2007-2011] she was released and allowed to return to her home in the United States of America. On January 30, 2014 an appellate court in Florence, Italy convicted Knox once again sentencing her to a term of 28 1/2 years. Obviously, the case against Knox was not strong enough to pass appeal following the first verdict of guilty, and I doubt it will be strong enough to uphold in the next appeals process. I move to formally refuse the extradition of Amanda Knox to the Italian Republic. A citizen of the United States should not be subject to the obvious unjust rules of the Italian Republic's court system Please put an end to this once and for all.
